Make your home made mask safe for reuse.

With increasing cases of covid-19 cases now it is mandatory to use face mask. Mask helps us to prevent direct contact with virus.

Simple home stitched cotton based masks are safe and re-usable. But you should know following points before depending on home made masks.

1. Keep at atleast two masks. Use them alternatively. 

2. In case of humid weather if mask get wet immediately switch to another fresh mask.

3. While removing it don't touch it from the front of the mask always hold it from the ribbon through which it is tide. 

4. Soon after removing the mask without touching it to any other surface soak it directly to detergent solution. Keep the mask in detergent for 1 hour and then wash it well with clean water.

5. If detergent solution is not available you can also put it into boiling water and add salt to it. Keep them boiling for 5 minutes.

6. After cleaning dry the mask in direct sunlight for atleast 5 hours or till it get dry completely.

7. If it is humid temperature and could not be dried well in sunlight then iron it properly. 

8. Once you put mask on your face avoid touching it. In case you need to adjust it remember to sanatize your hand after touching it.

9. Make sure your mask covers your nose and mouth properly.
